Doing some digging in the photo files on our computer, I found some photos from our last trip to Steamtown, USA, where Zeke (before his teardown and overhaul prep) posed with Reading Railroad T-1 #2124.
For those not familiar with the class, they are very powerful 4-8-4s that the Reading (Pronounced REDD-ing) Railroad had converted from 2-8-0s during WWII. Of the 30 members of the Reading T-1 Class, four remain: 2100, 2101, 2102, and 2124.
2100 currently resides in Washington State.
2101 is most famous for being part of the motive force for the American Bicentenial's American Freedom Train of 1976.
She was later painted in the Chessie System colors. 2101 resides at the B&O Railroad museum in Baltimore, MD. We have made 2 trips there so far.
2102 resides in Port Clinton, PA, where she will likely be restored to service.
2124 resides in Scranton, PA, at Steamtown USA. So far we have made 2 trips there, with plans to return to take detailed measurements and detail photos of Canadian National #47, a 4-6-4T.

Zeke is on the front of the 2124:
