What's everybody up to?

I've had chronic modeller's block for ages. I did a little work on Stromallee (signage and road markings) before taking it to the European Railways Association exhibition in September, but I need a new distraction. I'm thinking of making a small train set to have in the living room which I can poke at when I need to find something to do. I have grand plans of modelling Rathmannsdorf as my next portable layout, but that's slow work. Only the benchwork frames have been completed so far, I'm trying to draw up the station building's basic dimensions in CAD as a precursor to making a physical model of it - it's a complex shape though.

These were all done using ALPS created decals. The big BN logo was a mite troublesome ! :wall: :wall:

I am looking for ideas for this segment of our layout.
It could be any kind of scenery. The mine on the top is just a temporary idea.

Make it a quarry?

Or a nice rock wall with a climbing area. Then the mine could stay on the top.
