What's everybody up to?

Earlier this month, I visited the modell-hobby-spiel fair in Leipzig, Germany. In another topic, I already posted a picture of a photo scene with a Russian crawler tractor I bought on the fair. Two other pieces I got for my Russian collection is an SZD reefer and an UAZ military jeep. With these two models, I made another photo scene:

Of course, I also visited the stand of Lok-n-Roll. There, I bought two boxcars, which are now used on my US layout:

It's the 50' NYC boxcar in the background and the NH boxcar on the track in the foreground.

Love it!

Is the New Haven car a one off, or is it something Lok-N-Roll will make more of?

The isolated boxcar model is one of the novelties from this year. Order this car via email with a link to Joern's photo. And he will build this car again.

Recovering from the cold I picked up last weekend at Chilliwack.
Cutting up a module for the next display.
Doodling future displays.

Working on a 400 mm by 1500 mm module that is a yard with half a dozen tracks. And the usual 86 and 129 mm mainline tracks. Been retired for 6 weeks and just getting into serious modeling projects.

Getting out several of the old kits that I had started and never finished, like PVM boxcars, the GP7 and Plymouth diesels.

That reminds me, I have a pair of PVM GP7s and a F3 kit to start on, thanks for the reminder!

I emailed about the NYC boxcar myself, so we'll see if I ever get a reply to begin the re-issue process.

I am looking for ideas for this segment of our layout.
It could be any kind of scenery. The mine on the top is just a temporary idea.
