It's The Holidays - so I wish all of you, better yet, all of us, that our "chiu chiu" dreams come true. Let's stay healthy and keep the semaphores up!

I recently started work on my new module destined for our exhibits. I'd like to build a panel showing a small coal mine.
The length would be the same as my other modules (997 mm x 300 - as per our standard) which limits my options for planing the track.

I consider two options :
- two straight tracks through and a short parallel track with two turnouts
or
- two straight tracks through but the parallel would consist of one turnout and stayed open-ended allowing for future expansion.

What do you think - any suggestions?

Keep worm and best wishes,

Or you can combine the two by adding another switch to the "two turnout" version so that it keeps going straight and allows for future expansion.

Thank You ConducTTor for your suggestion, it would be a great option to implement if I could have had more room.

Watching people, especially kids during shows, I noticed a true fascination with bridges and tunnels as the trains play "hide and seek".
I decided to build one more tunnel in front of my coal mine hoping to add depth to my module.

Here are some pictures from the progress of my work.
