Re: Coupler height

I am wondering what would be the correct dimensions for a Micro-Trains 1015 coupler to get it centered to the .281" height.

The draft gear box measures about .205" wide x .128" thick.
The coupler appears to be centered in the draft gear box.

Should I use .345" for the upper dimension and .217" for the lower dimension?

Kind regards,
Robert

A little bit late. But I use a GC steel boxcar as a measuring device with the MTL 1015 and an MTL shim over the coupler.
I didn't measure it.
