I realized yesterday that I underestimated the number of tables needed.
For the two new loop corners, the bigger one will sit nicely on a six foot and four foot table as diagrammed. The two four foot sections are strong enough.
The new corner needs more support as it is built of smaller pieces.
So I decided to build another four foot table.
Job one, find plywood.
Went to Home Despot on the way to work. Strike out.
Went to Loews after work. Found the pre cut plywood pieces buried behind two pallets of doors. Muscled one pallet out of the way to get at the 1/2" plywood. What crap! There was enough of a bow in each piece to use it as a boat.
The 1/4" birch plywood was behind the other pallet. Muscled it out of the way enough to get one sheet out. Much better quality and a bit cheaper that the 1/2".
Added some 2x2(nominal size) bracing. The result is solid and nice and light.
Top side
Bottom side.
Now to make some legs
