See here one compact TT-scale layout, designed in SCARM:
Small Layout with Shadow Station in TT scale

The layout features oval main line with small train station (in front) and shadow station in tunnel (in the back) suitable for running of short passenger and freight trains.
Several more small TT-scale layouts can be found here: TT-scale layouts, designed in SCARM.
Hope you will like them

You can ask the author of the software. He is answering questions directly on the web page reached by the link in his post ahead of yours. I have never used scarm and can't help you at all.
