I joined this forum just shortly before the update and read somewhere in your posts a mention of the water tower in the background, but I can´t find it anymore. I saw some Bahnbau engines and trucks on my way home from work the other day and looked up your post once again to try to figure out, why someone in Florida is modelling German Bahnbau Gruppe. (On the other Hand, why is someone from Bremen modelling the Pacific Northwest?)

Kibri actually produces a model of the Duisburg-Wedau water tower:
https://www.walthers.com/duisburg-water ... 2-x-34-5cm

I couldn´t find the height of the actual water tower in Wedau, so I can´t tell the scale of the model. It might be H0, but I doubt it`s true 1:87.

Thanks, I have that Kibri Wasserturm HO kit still unbuilt, it is too tall, 130 TT scale feet (94.3 HO scale feet). I do have an unbuilt Faller's 120143 HO kit (95 TT scale feet) and also one built from ebay that's missing the cupola, about 80 TT scale feet to the top of the dome). And finally I have a Vollmer 47543 N scale (68 TT scale feet) (90 N scale feet) that was from ebay already built. That would be placed in the futherest corner of the layout.
The following was assembled for a photo shoot, table still in use as storage, one day. The Faller Wasserturm could been seen behind the Temos two stall Lokschuppen.

This is the Wasserturm that could be seen in the distance in the second photo (upper left corner) that the Vollmer would represent along with the Tichy 2601 N scale signal tower that I have.

To help with your interest in the Pacific Northwest Railroad, I vacation in Montesano Washington annually (visit my almost 5 year old Godson) do a search for Simpson on this forum. This is the now defunct Simpson Timber Railroad from Shelton WA. I have many links to YouTube showing their SW1200s locomotives hauling lumber cars in and from the OlympIa Natural Forest from the 90s. That town I vacation at is about 35 miles south from one of their lumber campsites on the opposite side of the lake I visited. One locomotive is named City of Montesano too. Also there are links to the two highest bridges that were build by Simpson also I have links to drone videos of those bridges. Finally a link to a book that I've purchased " Logging to the Salt Chuck, over 100 years of Railroad Logging in Mason County, Washington"
Hope this helps

I took a virtual street view tour on Google maps
Dropped pin (middle) is the street view location of the second screenshot

Near Wedau, 47279 Duisburg, Germany

This is satellite view of the Wasserturm (upper dropped pin and labelled) just south of that appears to be remnants of a roundhouse and a turntable.

The lower drop pin is an pedestrian foot bridge where many YouTube videos and the three photos in the original post of the DBG Bahnbau yard were taken from.
