I always thought that can motors are overpriced; China proves me wrong.

Can motors overpriced?
Re: Can motors overpriced?
I bought a pack of ten of very similar-looking motors for what amounted to a couple of pounds. I've used two in GP9 motorisations and so far, a couple of years on, they're doing fine.

A rider to the above - the locos are sometimes a little jerky but I can't be at all sure this is down to the motors, more likely my construction.

Re: Can motors overpriced?
I have bought a bulk lot of similar can motors for a song, and I am still going through them, years later, with only one failure thus far, and that was the "test article" motor that I intentionally fed 18-20 volts from a G scale power pack to see how long it would hold up.
Life is short, play with TT Scale Trains!
