Hi All, I am new here.

Post by Gekom56 »

My name is Jerzy and I have just joined this forum today(16/08/2020 East Coast Australian Time ).I have been living in Sydney for the last 38 years.I have been involved with TT Model Trains for most of my life ( Eastern Europe Zeuke and BTTB in 60' and 70' )Now I enjoy large collection of TT Models ranging from BeckmanTT, Jago, Jatt, Rokal, Wesa, Roco, BTTB,.Zeuke, Zeuke Herr, and more. There are number of TT Enthusiast friends that we meet at ModelTrainExhibitions around Sydney area. TT Layouts are rare to see in Australia so we are proud to show the public something different. My friend published some material on the subject of TT Scale in Sydney area. Kind of history about TT scale model trains as he remembers from times gone by.
Cheers

Hi Jerzy,

I am in Australia also, down in Albury. I have only met one other TT'er, Ian of TiTan Models who is also on this forum. I first met him at a show and hope to catch up again sometime. When things start up again, do post what shows your group will be attending.

I just love the scale of TT :) Is your groups layout based on any particular prototype?

G'day Jerzy,

Glad you have joined the TTnut group. You will find a lot of interesting info here if you spend some time going through past postings.

The November Wagga show has been cancelled for this year so will have to wait and see what happens with any layout displays in 2021.

Regards

Ian
