Gears

Post by krokodil »

Hi guys

I have got lot of gears (few thousands) of the following types:
The red one has 14 teeth
The white one has 28 teeth
The worm has a diameter of 5 mm.
All are module 0,4
Material is similar to Delrin.

Is there any interest?

They look like very useful items, if only I could find an application for them. Good to know there is a source. Are you holding on to them or disposing of them?

I had a project many years ago ( almost forgotten) and these days we have found 2 boxes with the gears and also TT wheels (8 mm and the read gear is on the axle). If nobody has interest I will throw them out.
(Privately and do not plan any such project anymore.)

Here are the wheels, diameter is 7,7 mm. From the wheels I have just several hundreds.
The worm diameter is 4,7, the hole is 2,9 mm and continues in a 0,9 mm hole over the entire worm.

Unfortunately, the wheels for the NA prototype are too small (~ 36") and there is little space for the axle bearings.
