So that's why some couplers stick out more than others. You live and learn. But isn't a working cushion underframe a bit superfluous for a TT scale car?

I don't think the working detailed cushion underframe is necessary. If I'm mostly running trains, it's hardly of use. If I have a couple of cars on a switching layout, I could built it for the few cars myself, if it were important to me.
Please skip that feature and make the cars cheaper.

Ok folks,
I will follow your advise and we will go for the fake cushion underframe. At least for this moment.
Oh, this supplier is well known for his high quality products.

I'm ok with whatever looks like the best course forward. Quality, detailed models cost more money regardless of scale. So it's really a matter of customer preference - price vs realism. I as always, will support everything that is North American tt.

Hi guys,

Before starting with the quiz we have some good and bad news.

First the bad news:
The 2-bay hopper is again postponed due to capacity shortage with the manufacturer of etched materials in Germany. I hope it will be the end of this year.

The good news:
The planning around the PS-1 is going well and the PS-1 can be expected next year. When exactly is yet too early to announce. And the diesel will be coming after the PS-1. But this also means that it is still also too early to tell you which diesel it will be. (0h, it will not be a NYC Nohab.😅)

Ah, the quiz, coming from the South, going Northeast, than Northwest, to the West, we are going . . . . again. And there is only one railroad company with 40ft cars in a dull brown color and 8ft doors, which is a must. Tell me Friday 10th September at 24:00 CET, the railroad company and car number range.

Ciao,
Rob

Remember this evening another quiz at 24:00 CET.

Till now we had the following cars:
SSW, car numbers 34943, 34650, 35070, 35352 160 pcs in total, Mirko was the winner
NYC, car numbers 175008, 175009, 175020, 175022, a set, 200 pcs in total, Alex was the winner
GTW, car numbers 516682 and 516765, 80 pcs in total, Ian was the winner
GN, car numbers 39800, 39816, 39817, 150 pcs in total, Mr. Knight was the winner

The next to be guessed is a dull brown car, a must if you look to the table of companies with more than 10.000 cars. In other words, easy peasy

Oh in December I will do the last quiz for a special car from a company not presented on the list with companies with more than 10.000 cars.

Ship it on the Frisco!?

My guess it´s the St. Louis & San Francisco RR Box Car in the number series 17000 - 19899.
