Zeuke-TT, what's new?
Re: Zeuke-TT, what's new?
Please do not forget the quiz. I am looking for a blue car, there is only one and I need the car number. The first one who provides me that car number on 00:00 CET 24th of December, will get that car for free.

@ Mr. Knight. Yes something like that.
Perhaps a bit more regarding the planning.
The first batch are mainly 40ft box cars, the second 50ft, the third a mix and the fourth again 50ft with plugin doors. Together with the second batch, locomotives are planned. After the third we will have during a year a pause to see how things sell and if there is a grow in users.
To create a complete train, the following railroad companies are leading: UP, CN, CP, NS, KCS and ARMTRAK. (Yes, I skip CSXT and BNSF for now.) ARMTRAK will be after 5 years, now we concentrate only on UP, CN, CP, NS and KCS (a bit) with their subsidiaries. If we offer a new model, this model should be at least available for two or three of the leading companies in a certain period. For a new gondola, this car should at least be used by UP (SP, WP, MP, SSW etc.), CN (GTW) or CP (D&H)
But things are not black and white. Because I will skip BNSF, that does not mean I will skip Frisco or ATSF cars. BNSF is only for now too new.
In Mai/June 2022 we will start a quiz to see what production batch 2 will bring.
Ciao,
Rob

I also like the Western Pacific's 50ft with the feather.
The Amtrak had PS-1 boxcars? That would be news to me. It was founded in 1971 when modern boxcars arrived.

Re: Zeuke-TT, what's new?
I don't know much about boxcars so haven't commented previously, but I am looking forward to these new wagons

Re: Zeuke-TT, what's new?
@Mirko, Yes I am dreaming too far ahead. ARMTRAK was less in freight cars when I am not wrong.
The only thing I wanted to say is that I try to create complete trains for UP, CN, CP and maybe KCS and NS. The PS-1 is only one step in that direction. Diesels are the next big step. The third step will be a gondola.
But I should stop with dreaming, let's finish step one.
Rob
@Bigelov, don't tell anyone, I don't know much about box cars either.

Re: Zeuke-TT, what's new?
If you want to do complete trains, wouldn't that mean you'd have to offer a caboose in addition to the locomotive?
Re: Zeuke-TT, what's new?
@ConducTTor, that is the problem with dreaming. It would be step 20 and I will be retired.
The caboose is step 4.
Till now I did not see that much reactions about an orange box car with a white feather. Is there something else what is really wanted perhaps needed? I would say: tell it Santa.

Re: Zeuke-TT, what's new?
There is still so much to choose from:
AA, AWP, C&EI, C&G, CNJ, CNW, C&O, D&H, L&N, MP, NW, RI, SLSF, SOO, USAX, VGN, etc
I am not so sure if WP is the right choice.
Any suggestions supported by multiple fans?

Re: Zeuke-TT, what's new?
Out of these I'd suggest C&O, CNW, MP at the top of the list - their cars got everywhere so are basically requirements. But by my heart it'd be AA, SOO, P&N...
