Hi guys,
Thanks for your reaction and I think that it probably is a rebuild F3. See the picture.
For the time being, I will put it aside.

The GTW 9020 is one of the series 9016-9027 and an F3 Phase IV, also named F5. The locos were built in September 1948 with the F7 electrical (heavier-duty cables and GM-D27C traction motors) and stainless steel grills instead of the chicken wire ones. As I see it, only the side porthole windows are missing compared to the F7. The outer dimensions are the same.

Time for some good news.
ATSF Bluebonnet F7 will not be the first to produce, but the supplier accepts the painting challenge and it will be probably in the second batch.

Blomberg B trucks.
I have a limited number of correct pictures and drawings, see below. If somebody has better pictures/drawings, please provide them.
A question about the trucks, is the speed recorder always on the left truck first wheel? See B&O picture.

Hi Rob,

I have also sent a better version of that drawing (that you posted above) to your info at zeuke email address. Also sent a very large scan of a technical drawing via Wetransfer. I haven't heard if you received them so maybe check your spam folder if you haven't

Thxs Steve and Alex.
I reacted to you with a PM.

For everyone, please do not use info@zeuke-tt.com, but use a PM instead.

The PS-1.

The PS-1 50 ft box car with the 10 ft door will be released in three series. The first serie will show PS-1 box cars built between 1959 and 1966. In other words cars available when the F7 was running. The second serie has a build date between 1966 and 1969 And the third serie has a build date around 1970 with some cars rebuild or repainted in the eighties, like the cars from BN and CNA. A serie will be produced during 2 till 4 years depending on capacity and request. The first serie will have a max quantity of 50 cars per car number and there will be an average of 3 car numbers per railroad company.

All 50 ft box cars will be a mixture of cars with different doors, such as a plugin door, cars with and without roofwalk, cars with high brake system or a low brake system and cars with a normal underframe or a cushion underframe. The railroad companies in the first serie will be: SAL, L&N, GM&O, GN, WM, P&E (NYC), B&O, C&O, RI and WP.

Combine this with the 40 ft PS-1 box cars CNW, GTW, NYC, PRR, SSW and UP and you will have a picture of the first rolling stock to be running with the F7.

Within this group, cars from C&O, NYC and GN will be sold as a set by the producer on fairs in Europe.

Please give me your comment or requests.

Ciao,
Rob

Yes, the waiting is the hardest part and to tease you a bit more MILW, IC and UP are planned in serie 2. Oh, and notting is written in stone.

My preference would be for a 50ft with no roofwalk, WM, B&O or C&O. But I'm only likely to buy one so I realise I have little say!
