AstroGoat's HP Products 0-6-0 Project #1

Post by AstroGoat760 »

With my other projects still boxed up, I decided to purchase a new project locomotive, an HP Products 0-6-0. The loco is without tender at this point in time. I am trying to decide if I want to use a spare tender that I have or to build one (slope-back or a vanderbilt).

Here is the first video:

Wow, I have been delinquent on this post!

I will have to select another engine to rebuild and post here, as I have almost completed an HP 0-6-0T for my 2020 TT Resolutions.

Hi. Very nice model. Where can you buy such models novadays? Our Ebay does not offer anything similar. :-)
I have purchased quite a few HP 0-6-0s and similar on eBay over the last decade or so, and quite a few in-person at train shows throughout New England back when I was stationed in Connecticut.

Some of the locos that I have are in pieces, or are in need of repair, and I will have to select one of the hulks to rebuild and run, and it will be the next HP 0-6-0 that I will document in detail and post here.

Can you change your search parameters to worldwide in the filter dropdown 'item location'

Hey E.T. also try searching the ebay country, e.g.
ebay.usa
ebay.de
etc
I find there are more items when searching in Germany (ebay.de) than the worldwide. I'm not sure but probably has to do where the seller wants to ship his item. I just ask the seller would you ship to America and how much would it cost in their native language and in english.
