It is slightly bigger - 1.0m x 0.9m or 39" x 36" and to make real easy I put wheels on the bottom of the legs so it can be just wheeled into the hall &
then out to the car at pack-up time. There were a coupe of surprised looks when packing up as others struggled to carry their HO & O boards out.

There's something to be said for small layouts. The big ones are obviously very impressive. But the small ones are so much more realistic in terms of actually completing something. I've started 3 different large layouts and never even completed laying out the rails. My small 3" X 6" (3' X 6') layout is the only one I've completed and it was both useful and fun. Maybe I should stop using rail editors to dream up room filling stuff and just make and complete something small again...
