BCSME February 2022 set up

We have the dates of 5/6 and 12/14 February confirmed for a set-up at BCSME in Burnaby.

The details of the schedule are still to be confirmed.

I don't know. We need Bill to clarify what the arrangement is with the hosts. Bill, where are you?

Not yet. Bill is the one who puts one together usually...

Not sure yet when we can get in on Saturday. Might be an option of a Friday night setup but I think I would prefer Saturday.
I have an inquiry in.

No track plan as I am not sure how big we can get and still leave a walkway around the display.
I am thinking about setting up the tables as big as we can do and then design the layout around the space.
Planning on bringing all my modules including the Industrial ones in progress.

As to going in on weekdays.
I could do Monday.
Tuesday there are people there all day but I couldn't be there until around noon. Have to work until Kat shows up around then.
Have to work Wednesday through Friday, but might be able to do an evening.
We will see.

As there is no public, this setup is for us. Bring anything you want to run or test. Models to work on.I will be bringing a box of basic scenery materials so we can touch up modules.

No food service on site so bring lunch and snacks.

Packed up all modules today.
More packing tomorrow.
Looking forward to a couple of days of running.

I work Friday night so Saturday would be better for me, have the whole day free and Sunday until about 6 pm too, after that I have to head to Mission for the night because early dentist appointment Monday. 12th/13th are both fully free (so far, might have another dentist thing on the 14th but we'll see)

Setup Time is 10AM Saturday

Here is a quick plan that assumes that since we do not have to allow for the public, we can go a bit wider and longer.

It has not been sanity checked for simple things like do I still have those modules.
Much room for change when we setup.
I think the pack has enough tables for this. If not I will bring one or two of my own.

Yay for having a rough schedule. Set-up on Saturday at 10:00 works for me too. Also yay for the let's get there and improvise approach.

Saturday (the 5th) evening I have to leave around 4:30, so I will not join you for dinner. Sunday evening I can stay as long as the group wants and also for dinner, if we decide to have one. Next Saturday (the 12th) I also have an engagement in the evening, timing to be determined. The Sunday after that I am available for takedown and whatever activities the group decides.
