Hi gang,
Elmer has done a nice set of instructions describing the build of the etched chassis /Bull Ant method for the GP shell.
He discusses his method and give a couple other options that may be useful for anyone using this chassis.

Re: GP38-2 etched chassis assembly
Looks to me that the drive mechanism would work pretty well in any hood loco especially an etched brass one as Ben stated much earlier on. Can the etch be adapted to suit the Norkin SD if so we are in business arn't we
Re: GP38-2 etched chassis assembly
Elmer gets all the credit for the build, he solved a couple problems that had me banging my head against the wall! I think this chassis would be too short to use with the Norkin model, but it looks like it the design could be adapted and etched for any wheelbase (and all that credit goes to Mark at Mark4 for the design!).
