Uhlenbr/Tillig Daisy 2, Piko Smrtcntr. light + Kuehn dec.

Post by Mr Lard »

Hi all!

After fighting with this issue myself for a week, I thought I would share it in case others have the same problem.

Uhlenbrock/Tillig Daisy II systems, as well as Piko Smartcontrol Light, can have problems noticing Kuehn decoders. In case this happens, you have to seet the LNVC 52 in the central to value 2 (the factory setting is 3). That will make the system discover the decoder. The art.no. of the central is 65200 and the sadress is 1 (the Piko manual omits this).

Hope this will help someone at least!

The whole point of standards was that everything simply works together. Apparently *some* manufacturers consider this optional :wall:

Where are the standards? There are just recommendations, and no one on the world is able to crosscheck every product from every manufacturer for the full compatibility.

It is a universal truth that Monty Python or xkcd have an answer to any situation.
