LS Models WLABmee 2007 livery Model 58011
This is a two car sleeping car set by LS Models sold by Tillig. The cars are identical but with different operating numbers. This particular set has the 2007 livery of the RZD.
This is the new standard in tt scale cars. Period. Detail and paint are phenomenal. Rolling resistance is minimal and they come with standard Tillig couplers. Coupled cars have no gap between themselves on straight rail. The models come with a bunch of parts and no explanation. A picture from Tilligs website (last pic below) shows that the extra parts are seats. You can change the interior from beds to benches if desired.

Right on, Man. I couldn't resist either and bought one of the Slovak versions from ETH. Can't wait. I have heard, however; that the interior does not accommodate the installation of lighting.

I don't normally do lighting in cars but for sleepers / night train you pretty much have to. When I get to that I'll figure out how to get it done and post on here.CSD wrote:I have heard, however; that the interior does not accommodate the installation of lighting.

I also took pictures of these really great cars.
Besides that I'm really looking forward to the other cars L.S. has announced, as they will do the City Night Line cars - and I really hope that Tillig's part within the cooperation between Tillig and L.S. is the distribution only...
Lighting the cars might be possible but not so easy to do. There is no current collection in the bogies, and I don't think, that there are holes in the body.Besides that I'm really looking forward to the other cars L.S. has announced, as they will do the City Night Line cars - and I really hope that Tillig's part within the cooperation between Tillig and L.S. is the distribution only...

I can NOT wait for the CNL cars. Any idea if they'll do a double decker?

Re: LS Models WLABmee 2007 livery Model 58011
Yes, they will do them, too. As said by Tillig, the will come starting in fall.

Re: LS Models WLABmee 2007 livery Model 58011
Coming back to this old thread, because there are some news...
First of all: In the second half of 2013 LS Models will bring the WLABmee in the new RZD livery.
Second: There is no more cooperation between Tillig and LS. Bad for the chain of distribution, but might be good for the general quality. The LS guys are "nerds" in the best way: They want to make the best models possible. On the other hand Tillig: Their products are mostly average or - in case of many passenger cars - below average.
Third: CNL is uncertain, because LS needs to sell 5,000 items per shape variant - quite impossible in TT, as long as it's not an era IV Reichsbahn item. Very sad
All information is from the LS guys at the Intermodellbau fair in Dortmund last week.
