Re: TT-Tracks
Finished crossover last night. Tested and fixed in the store today.
Had to use the replaced Dual Frog Juicer from one end loop for one frog and the internal switch in the servo controller for the other frog.
All wired OK and works with push button but not DCC. Something else to look into. May just be missing a jumper.
My package with the new Frog Juicers may be lost, well most likely is lost due to the post office. Still looking into it. May be out the $$
We will see.

Re: TT-Tracks
Tibi and I use Kaizen foam in our transport boxes. It is layer foam that is "supposed to be easy" to pull the layers apart.
The reality is different.
Kaizen makes a hot foam tool for making depression in the foam. It is $$$. If we were going to be doing a lot of this it might be worth acquiring the tool.
I decided to try a Hotwire Foam Factory Free-hand Router to see what would happen. This has a thick wire that you can bend to shape. It works.
A bit difficult to control but I think if you take it slow you will get reasonable results.
It stinks a bit so doing this out side or somewhere with good ventilation would be a good idea.

Re: TT-Tracks
I just carve out foam (regardless of type) with an exacto. Not the fanciest method but it always works.

Re: TT-Tracks
My latest package from TiTTan Downunder arrived. Only 10 days. Not bad. Not as good as the miracle 5 day delivery just before Covid hit, but not to be sneezed at.
Now I have a supply of trucks for myself(and others) to carry on car modifications.

Re: TT-Tracks
Sunny today. Was able to cut the grass. Maybe Junuary is over. Been a cold wet June.
Not much happening on the TT-Tracks front.
The Peco announcement is great for the future of TT-Scale. I will build a UK themed module or two when the Peco products I ordered arrive. I expect to end up with two or three UK trains. Might be time to get back to working on my Triang equipment. The July Railway Modeller Magazine is the magazine issue that is introducing Peco TT.
The Peco code 55 track will mate with the Tillig Bedding track OK. Will have to see if the rail will fit in the bedding track.
Installed wheel sets in all the trucks I purchased from TiTTan Downunder. Used up all my 33" wheel sets.
Need to order two dozen 7mm RP25 wheel sets to have spares on hand. Now have enough trucks for a while Last month and this month have been heavily involved with inventory at work. Been impacting my desire to work on trains at home a bit.
Need to build two new corners for future BCSME setups.
With VTE in November not happening, our only future setups will be Chilliwack if it happens and BCSME.
We should be able to get two or three setups there.

Re: TT-Tracks
We are going to have to find a new place for our January TT-Tracks dinner. The Red Robin we usually meet at is closing.
Any suggestions?
It needs to have good beer, a reasonably accessible location for all of us, and good food.
