My guess is the Morris Minor van. Looks a bit oversized? I know there were a lot of them in Australia, but not sure about the US.

Yes, the Morris 1000 van and the diner are both 3mm scale resin castings, and very British. What's maybe not so obvious is that the workmen's hut is British 3mm scale too.
But in fact, going by the door heights, both the diner and the hut are nearer 1:120 than 1:100.

1/ It's a remote camera on telephoto or

2/ As I saw once on a railfan trip - We were at Central station in Sydney waiting for the carriages to be shunted in for our trip and this idiot was standing right on the very edge and at the end of a platform trying to photograph something 4 tracks away. Didn't hear the electric loco coming in on track he was next to - driver could tell he wasn't paying attention - snuck up to about 10 feet away and let rip with the horn.
He must have jumped 2' off the platform and we won't say anything about the brown stain in his pants!

The silly part is he had plenty of time before the trip departed and he could have walked over to the other platform and got a better shot.
