To completeness. The picture shows the new Kuehn Turnout WL10 respectively WR10. A shorter version is with the starter set and alone already available. Mr. Kuehn told me yesterday, that he gets the new one in 2 weeks for testing. If all is fine starts the delivery at the beginning of next year.

Does anyone know what the radii is of the Kuehn turnouts and curves?

Kuehn turnouts:
WL10/WR10 radius 758mm, length 193mm, frog angle 10°
WL20/WR20 radius 365mm, length 128mm, frog angle 14.7°
BWL/BWR radius 321mm for both (main and junction)
all turnouts with moving switch blades/tongues (non-springy)

curves R1 321mm radius and R2 365mm

Thanks, I think we may end up going with Keuhn for our 10 x 14 layout

Here is a first draft of what the big module section on our 10' x 14' 2" layout will look like:
TT Module 1 4 x 7.5.png
There will be a pair of loops that will run the full length of the layout, with three or four smaller radii loops at the end modules as well, which means that we can enjoy at least 5 or 6 operating TT trains at one time!

Any words as to how the testing has gone?

I have spoken to Mr. Kuehn at the fair in Leipzig and myself haven't his contact data. On my layout plan are also his turnouts placed. We can only wait and see what is coming.

With the entire issue of the potential eminent domain on my farm, we have opted to not build a permanent installed layout, rather, we will stick with modules that can be easily moved as needed. Plans for the modules to follow soon.
