Looks really great. What Tillig trucks did you use on this? Another project I have to get back on my workbench.

In the one picture, I see BR 218 bogie side frames under his locomotive. This is the most suitable from Tillig for a GP9, F3, or ALCo FA/B truck.

Re: voyttek's layout
I used gear towers from BR218. Distance between axles is by my standards within the acceptable range. This locomotive has narrower body compared to BR218 so I needed to use metal for a housing of gear towers, because plastic was to weak.
Because motor and flywheels from BR218 are too wide, I used motor from Roco V100 and mounted it sideways.
Another problem to solve was how to attach couplers. I hope I solved it by drilling holes through the main body in order to install bolts.
Yesterday I worked to place my decals and applied another clear coat.

Cool, yeah BR218 axle spacing is almost spot on (for a bunch of American locos). For motors under narrow hoods I buy Atlas N scale motor off the bay.

Re: voyttek's layout
Finally I finished my locomotive, it runs OK and now I am waiting for a decoder.
I still have three parts leftover witch I don’t know where they should be attached, I hope that maybe somebody could help me.
I have no idea where they belong and be happy to hear your suggestions.

Great work! Number 1 could be the ground light underneath the driver side window (on the frame). Number 2 and 3 could be the side skirts of the steps onto the drivers cab.
