These are prototypes which either exist as TT scale models or can be modeled from existing models.

Why only Poland? If it can be build as Russian TEM2, why not?

Kitbash/repaint projects:
TEM2 (UMF/www.eaos.pl SM48)
The link leads to a new version following a Polish prototype.
And it has only been posted here, but not in the thread about Poland where it belongs to.

This model wasn't listed everywhere. There are some differences between these both TEM-2 versions (pilot, exhaust gas silencer, headlights, coupler mounting, ...). This T3M2 model represents an older TEM-2 than the SM48 and is a better kitbashable base for a USSR version.

Both versions have the same names: TEM2, ТЭМ2 and SM48
So the existing list point will work for both versions.

And the link has not yet been placed in the Polish thread where it still belongs.

By the way:
It's not an older version. PKP simply ordered different headlights.

UMF has meanwhile replaced the prototype image of the T3M2. It seems now, you're right at this point. This model kit is almost identical with their SM48 kit ... too bad.

Some photos of the original prototypes. To my knowledge there is no company out there that manufactures any original version of any class locomotive (any country) (in TT!). I thought this might be a good challenge, modifying an existing model (ROCO, TILLIG, PEREVET)(?) into one like that.

This link doesn't work on my computer.

But if you're interested in Russian locomotives, this website will help you: http://scado.narod.ru/rail/index.htm
Unfortunately, it's Russian and there are only few photos.

@LVG1: You are right! It does not work.I think I am missing something. I need to find the photo again that sends me to that link.It is full of photos that I have never seen before. I don't think they were published during communism (kept secret). Give me a chance to check out yours, maybe it is the same one.

Man! I learned the wrong languages (Romanian, Spanish, English) Thanks! It is not the same web site. It will take me a while to figure it out.
