Passenger Cars
I've found four RTR passenger cars, all of which are for era V (post-1990), except one (a limited run by PSK) which is suitable for the 1980s as well (era IV).

Freight cars
I've found seven RTR freight cars suitable for era IV (1970s-1980s). Oddly enough, most are from Czech producers in limited runs:

Two RTR models are available for the late 1980s/early 1990s (ep IV-V transition):

Gbhs ep IV-V Modist KU480

Shimmns ep IV-V Schwaetzer

Two are available for the modern period:

Additionally, you can use Y-type cars to modell Italian ones. They need the same changes like the Yugoslavian ones, because GOŠA of Yugoslavia built their Y-cars on FIAT-license.

Left the descriptions out;-
3 car set is Tillig # 01590 Am, ABm & Bm Ep. IV series cars,
Wagon is from Hadl # 113214 Ghks Ep. IV

One day I'll find an Italian loco, diesel preferably, to run with these.
There is a model of the E 444 shell available on shapeways which uses the BR 218 chassis but from past experiences I have my reservations about using any more of their products.
