These should be the Norkin etches.

Thanks Alex of course they are, for some reason in the photo I saw the body as resin and not etched brass. Probably more to do with the shade of grey being the same as some other resin kits. Thanks for putting me straight

assistance!

I had two thoughts after buying the etching parts:

1. a chassis for Norkins shell
2. a finished (rtr) model of the SD45

result:

1. I have built a complete SD45 from Norkins (Shell from etches in plastic cast) and my parts (Frame, tank, trucks...)
2. I can offer a frame for norkins etches SD45 and more SD(40, 35, 38..) models!

actually, I produce the etching parts and the Frame front with the steps!

Michael, what would be the cost for a chassis for Norkin's shell? Also, what parts are used (type of motor, trucks, wheels, etc.)? From what I can tell, it's a Buhler motor as used in Tillig locos and a set of Tillig C trucks.

Hello conducttor,

I make your a offer on the Weekend for a complete Chassis, incl. trucks, tank, Motor...)
and yes, it is Tillig new Motor, which runs very well. I build all other machines on this engine, so that all have the same velocity!

to later

these look excellent.

i would certainly take one for an SD35, which is 35' rather than 40' between centre axles on each truck.

i would consider one for SD40/45 (40' between trucks.)
