I prefer MTL 1015 or 1025 couplers.
RP 25 wheels.

Parcel went off to Leadville today. I have sent trucks with both types of wheelsets, 714 & 1025 couplers, height gauge and section of track.

I will discuss options with Leadville once he has the samples to see which will give the best results.

An update from Leadville advises that there was a problem with the etches, more specifically the doors, where they failed to etch both sides leaving the doors solid on the back. The artwork has been corrected and resubmitted, but will take up to another 6 weeks or so depending on the Christmas holidays and factory shutdowns.

Latest word from Leadville about the stock car kits;-

" Just wanted to let you know that the correct etchings arrived this morning. I will be packing up the orders in the coming days. There will be two frames for each order so you can choose the one that works best for you. Decals will be printed this week. I will be reaching out to everyone who ordered for the balance with shipping by the weekend. Everything else is packed and ready to go. Everything like very nice! "

I received an email from Leadville regarding shipping.
18$ worldwide individually or we team up for the shipment. I think that was the plan, and all the kits for continental Europe go to Taxari, right?

They also have 7 kits left, if anyone is interested. I would advertise on the German tt-board, but the site is down.

< Well done Ian >> thanks, but there was just a lot of keyboard bashing getting things organised.
Once mine get here the biggest problem will be where I get that many cattle to fill them up.
Might just put a siding in, with stock yards and a few head being loaded. Something for a future part of the layout.

Sorry about the lack of attention on my part, how much are the 7 car kits, each?

$40 US each plus shipping. These are body/decal kits. You still need trucks & couplers

Should have added order direct from Leadville - just mention the CB&Q stock car kits in TT (of course)
