Canadian first covered hopper

Post by ART&DETAIL »

Hello model train friends,

I have read the last weeks / months by chance an article about Canadian´s first hopper.
I got my hands on pictures of the "3bay open hopper", which I found very interesting and moved to the replica!

The CAD drawings are ready, now the samples will be printed!

Great project - supplementary parts for the offset hopper cars.

I found some time ago a picture of a similar roof used by Hallett Construction Co., but no other railway company that has used this modification. HCTX 8210 (series 8201 - 8215)

The first parts are out of the printer!
The first tests look pretty good, but I have to rework the models again!

Looks like it might be good for other railroads too-
