How much longer do you suppose it could have taken them to at least make some main piston rods and side rods, or find some elsewhere in their parts bin to stand in for a photo? With the center screw missing, it leaves not a very good impression to show such an incomplete model. :naughty:
Or are they trying to beat someone else to the market? I would think unlikely, with such an uncommon prototype.

With Beckmann it doesn't matter that they show an incomplete model. They make quality stuff and people will buy it. It's also saying to others "don't bother developing this, we're already well on the way".
