Thank you. I reread the last posts late evening yesterday and somehow skipped the part with using the Lionel side frames. I only read the part about the 3D-printed ones and thought "there's gotta be an easier way"

You can remove the lower lid from the truck. Shorten the lugs to 4.3 mm and add a block as a rectangular holder for the Lionel side frames.

That is the easy way. Clip-on, done lol. The other way requires a tiny bit of work and is free :)
