In my boredom I was surfing youtube for info on some very early Minitrix N scale locos and stumbled across this very creative way to get a great amount of layout in a 4m x 4m room.
My German is pretty crap but I guess it's HO Maerklin. Down in the comments, Bing translates that the spiral is 90cm square. The top and bottom boards are 80cm deep. The middle one is 50cm deep out to 80cm on the loop.
