One for Arseny!

Post by areibel »

This picture was taken by a friend of mine, Scott Wilson today, 2-24-12! It was taken in the local rail yard in Meadville PA, even though it's a lease unit now it's nice to see the paint scheme still out there! Image

Ya wants some Soo line Diesel shots, huh?

There are quite a few Soo line diesels still roaming around here, both the solid red, and the red and white ones.

Right now I am not far from a former Soo line yard, and I can upload photos of them that I have taken if need be.

Thank you Al!
But it is SD60, if I am not mistaken, not SD45.

I've found some more photos of this locomotive:

As for eras - I prefer 1950s, so even early SD45 will be too modern for me... but I think I nevertheless will use it...
