Detail is a Czech manufacter of primarily Czech detail parts and wagon kits. This wagon came fully assembled and painted by hand. It has many separately applied details which makes for a highly detailed model. Couplers are all metal versions of the BTTB style and are not close coupling. The mount for the couplers is fragile. I would recommend the kit over the assembled unit as I feel an individual would take more care in the assembly. Unfortunately my model got a bit squashed during shipping (nothing that can't be easily fixed).
