Here is quite possibly the simplest TT scale kit one can find: The PVM Water Column. The prototypes were used to add water to steam engine tenders/tanks, and also for diesels that used water as well. (Examples include Passenger locomotives with boilers for steam heat and fuel oil heat exchangers for early Union Pacific gas turbine locomotives that used Bunker C oil).

The kit comes as a single section of resin, and is of two pieces: the column itself and the base. From the bottom of the base to the top of the column, the model is just over 15 scale feet tall.

The column casting has a lot of detail that takes some patience and a sharp hobby knife to cut around without taking the details off. I would recommend planning out each slice before you make it, and in some areas, I would advise that you scrape layers of resin flash away instead of cutting through.
