It's a 1 mm bearing ball. I got a hundred of them for $1 on Amazon.

With the pin point axles they most certainly roll now. My glass top workbench has a 1 degree slope on it and they won't stay put, just keep rolling off.

Another option would be the Peho brass bearings: They work with Mueller pin-point axles.

I've used Peho on all my old BTTB models. Good stuff.

Where do you get Peho? I've been looking around (but not too hard) and the only option I see is ordering direct?

Order at MBS-Sebnitz only if they are in stock. Some TT friends have been waiting for paid items for months! See TT-Board.de.

PeHo has an own online shop. Like CFRiad already wrote ↑.

I also had problems with MBS last winter. They were not able to source Kuehn items that weren't in stock. After 8 weeks of waiting, I asked them to take the items off the order and ship me what they had in stock. Back then I thought that the problem was with Kuehn, but turns out all other stores had the items but not MBS.
