Thanks for the prompt reply and the Blue and the Tiger are clearly evident on the prototype photos shown.

Blue Tiger? What location would a layout appropriate for this loco represent? and what kind of rolling stock would be correct for it to pull? .....DaveB
Re: Mehano Bombardier Blue Tiger model 55534 T 509 HVLE
You can use the Blue Tiger on any German layout (they are approved for Germany only) and with nearly any type of freight train, but not with regular passenger trains. The loco doesn't have heating and automatic door control.
The hvle used their locomotive mostly on the Rübelandbahn (a steep line in the Harz mountains) to pull cars loaded with limestone. In the meantime electric TRAXX locomotives took over, and the Blue Tiger is more a backup at the moment.

You forget MKB's one...Dibbedabb wrote:The hvle is the only operator who doesn't have a tiger anywhere on the body...

Finally, the blue Tiger was only applied to those two units which you provided photos of. OHE's units have red tigers. And all others lack it.

Are you sure about MKB? Take a deep look onto the MKB loco.
TXL and ITL ok.

This Tiger 2 with item number 501665 was a special model from Tillig in cooperation with Lemke-Mehano. Tillig sold it for their open day. Which was celebrated together with the one by the Captrain railroad company.
