Does anybody have kadee 713 couplers installed on 0-4-0? Or is it better to use any other type of couplers?

I have Micro-Trains N scale installed on mine. A 1023 on the front and a 1015 on the rear.

Will post photos tomorrow.

My effort so far. Have just fitted handrails. Still needs MV lenses & decals. Chasing a bell as well.

Nice efforts so far. If anyone wants a shell for this loco for free (cost of postage) drop me a note here. I have one lying around that I will never use. John

Gone, to the lowest bidder! Could be adapted to others, I've seen photos of similar LV and CNJ locos on the NJ waterfront...maybe even San Francisco? John

Probably an axle swap instead of a regauge Bernd. Lindsay/ Kemtron made those little critter diesels in HOn3, if you check under the hood it's the exact same mechanism as the TT Docksider. I've seen them bashed where someone swaps out the axles for HOn3 ones (you could buy both axles for less than a buck back in the day), files the frame a bit and cuts the upper cab off and either raises it or scratches one to make it more HO-ish. Voila! A small HOn3 switcher!
