Kuehn Ř 372 ČD CARGO item #32905

My only disappointment with this model is that they chose to use the same unit number as item 32900.

All the 372 class locos were transfered to CD Cargo when it was established in 2007. If you want to be accurate, you shouldn't run 372 CD and 372 CD Cargo on your layout together at the same time anyway.

^^^Thanks, JBr. I was thinking about back dating the CD logo on item 32900 back to the 90's era CSD logos so that I would have a locomotive for my set of Modist passenger cars with yellow strip. Would that work?

After the split of Czechoslovakia on Demecber 31st 1992, there was a period of time when you could see loco with CD logo with CSD branded cars and vice versa. I'm not sure whether these particular cars from Modist set were used together with class 372 locos, but the CD/CSD combination could be possible in 1993.

You can either wait for a blue prototype 372.001 CSD version (promissed for 2012) or wash the CD logos from the model and add CSD oval logo.
Mixing CD and CSD would not be a good idea. Although there was a period of a month or two in 1993 when both logos were used.
This particular CD-cargo (2007+) locomotive should not be mixed with CSD cars at all :)
