Locomotive: Overall appearance is good with the exception of the standard BTTB oversize pantographs. Paint is even and crisp. Lighting is directional and provided by incandescent bulb, however; it is not well masked as light leaks from the sides. The mechanism responds well with even acceleration, but is noisy and causes slight shaking of the locomotive.
Coaches: Are exceptionally well detailed inside and out. Many separately applied details are provided including choice of extended or retracted diaphragms. Interior lighting is provided by incandescent bulbs. The standard BTTB couplers do not allow close coupling. These must be replaced with a rigid coupler (included) for this effect.
Instructions for the locomotive are German only. Car instructions are pictorial and include alternate car numbers to be cut out and applied.
