TT Scale News Blog

Post by Rich B »

Having been limited in mobility and modelling ability lately by repeated joint and tendon issues, I decided to find an outlet for my modelling urges by setting up an English language blog about TT scale. The blog is online at https://ttscalenews.wordpress.com/

I'd welcome any submissions about new items, events or even readers' projects, and of course I'd simply welcome comments and readership. It's early days yet, but I hope to get it the point of being a useful resource as well as promoting TT in the Anglosphere.

Cheers

Rich

Please pardon my naiveté about blogs and blog-like things. Is there a way to subscribe and get updates delivered to one's emailbox? Or, is bookmarking the best way to stay up-to-date?

I did not calculated exactly only read in the blog that the diesel loco has 240HP. This is definitively wrong.
According the specs the loco has 4x562KW motors.

Rich B is right.
Rich B wrote:The Siemen’s Vectron family is a widespread locomotive type found in numerous European countries, running on DC and AC electrification systems and also available with a “last mile” 240hp diesel engine for shunting or 3,200hp diesel only.
The Vectron AC and DC can be ordered with an optional auxiliary diesel engine (called shunting module). With this 240 PS module can the locomotive driving without voltage from the catenary. For example in a intermodal yard or at a switching job. The Vectron DE is the diesel-only locomotive with 3200 PS.
