Re: It's coming
I forgot. June 10th this site was 3 years old. I honestly never imagined it would be where it is in 3 years' time. Some of the first members may remember that I was ready to kill it after 1 year due to limited interest.
Anyway, it's pretty much thanks to everyone who contributes/visits that the site is alive so....
Happy B Day everyone!

Re: It's coming
ConducTTor, I have had to make modifications to the TT scale booklets to account for Elmer McKay retiring Possum Valley Models, I can post the revised versions here if you wish, or perhaps there should be a thread dedicated to TTnut.com TT pamphlets and leaflets.
I am considering making other ones soon, such as a "TT basics" and "TT is International", based on the display we made for the train show we just were at.

Re: It's coming
Feel free to make a thread specifically for docs like the pamphlets. I thought we already had something like that somewhere but I could be wrong.
You know, it wasn't too long ago that I knew every single topic that exists on the site....

I remember a thread from wayyyy back on the pamphlets, I'd bet it's back two years or so.. I think it was in the General section?

Re: It's coming
There is a thread covering pamphlets and such, but those are the older ones like from HP and Gandy Dancer. I started that one a couple of years ago when I scanned in an HP catalog and a Gandy Dancer booklet. The thread I am proposing is for ones made by members of TTnut.com, and cover modern developments in TT.

The one I'm thinking of is on page 4 of this topic (DOH!)
It mentions the one Sailor made up and has pics, is that the one you're thinking of too Boss?

Re: It's coming
Let's use whatever is already there. It doesn't make sense to have one topic for "old" docs and one for "new" ones. The new will become old at some point anyway.

Re: It's coming
Well, with the upcoming National Train Show in Atlanta next month, we plan on having a section of our display set aside for pamphlets and such, much like what we have done with every show we display at since we joined TTnut.com.
Does anyone have any suggestions/thoughts/corrections here that will make the pamphlets the best that we can do?

Oof. Making a new template for the show was something I was thinking of doing but I don't have the time for it so honestly I haven't put much thought into it.....
