This thread is becoming a litany of problems, but it's better if we document them. You don't need to act on them right away, though.

Here is another one: when navigating to any page, the browser (Safari 13.1 on Mac OS 10.15.4 Catalina) loads its last version cached in history and does not show the new content. When i force reload the page, the new content shows correctly. This is a new problem, it never happened on the old version of the forum.

And another: The dark blue background makes some text hard to read. People already complained about red on dark blue, but the blue on dark blue is really bad.

Sorry to add to the woes but I am having problems staying logged in too, even though I'm on the https site and check the box that says remember me. After a day or so I get kicked out.

Ok gang, by far the nastiest issue is the login. Part of what YOU are experiencing is caused directly by ME. Explanation - when I make a change I force all user sessions to be cleared so I can test the site in a "virgin" state. This is causing you more issues than you would normally experience and I'm getting too many emails and PMs about "I got logged out". So, I will shut the site again until I fix this once and for all. All the other stuff like colors and whatnot is easy and I'll deal with it later.

I could use help testing when appropriate. If any of you would like to volunteer please send me a PM- I'll set your accounts so you can access the site while it's locked.

I have the same with FF 76. When I come to https://www.ttnut.com/ old content is shown. If I logged in then also shown the old content when I open https://www.ttnut.com/ in a new tab. The site shows me also as not logged in. Reload -> all is fine.

We are patient. I hope you can fix the problems.

Guys, turns out there is a known issue with Chrome causing logouts. Will have to wait for a software patch to deal with it. In the meantime, if you're using any other browser and get logged out, let me know - it's important to let me know EXACTLY what you clicked on to get logged out. This will help me identify a pattern so I can track down the issue.

FYI, links that you find on Google will not work. Yet. Once the logout issue is resolved I'll take care of the broken links. The topics and posts are still on the site but the new software is not yet set up to read friendly URLs. However, you can still navigate to those pages via the site or use the search function to find the relevant posts.

It's me ConducTTor - this is a second user I have here on the board - for testing and other purposes. Anyway, the old content you're seeing is pages that your browser has cached. Reloading the page will override your cached version - best way is Control + R.

The last couple of days, when trying to login, I had a "Secure connection failed" error in both Firefox and Chrome. I cant find the gallery to post images, but the Firefox error link sent me here:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/se ... =inproduct

The first image on the page, under "Secure connection cannot be established" was what I was getting, but I can obviously login now!
