After running in a few locomotives for Bjoern I brought out a North American train.

Super cool guys! The corner module in the last picture looks really well done.

Great photos so far, I think the "ticket" idea is quite neat.

OK, back at home and well rested.
It was a very good show! A very good show for us TTnutters!!! Everything worked very well. Only a few minor things to work on before the Portland show. I was reliefed that my bridge moduls worked well with the rest of Bills modules. Because our layout is now getting bigger, there was not much room for the GuiTTar case at the usual spot in front of the staging yard. So we had to set it up in front of the TT-Tracks display. Not ideal but it still worked. I was almost constantly busy. And the feedback for both of the TT displays was very, very good.
As you can see we put our banner on the wall behind us. Bill highlighted 2 sides of it with green tape to stand out from the white wall.

Victoria was a good show, tiring but good.

The show organizers were not sure how the show would be received this time of year. It is usually in September but as it is held in a curling rink, it is usually the last weekend before the ice goes in. This year the ice goes in really early so the show would have had to have been on Labour day weekend. Not a good idea.

Happily the public came and it was a good show.

We traveled over to Victoria the night before because I didn't think there would be enough setup time if we came over on the first ferry Sunday morning. I was right, those who came on the first ferry didn't arrive until 9:20 AM. That would have only allowed us 40 minutes to setup before the public came in. Just barely do-able. As it was we were at the hall at 7 AM. Lots of time to setup.

Most equipment ran well. I had two box cars with issues, one dropped a coupler box and the other a truck screw.
The SW1200s ran well. Some do not like MUing at certain speeds.
I ran a 12 box car train with one to three SWs. Looked good. Need more box car types to give varying heights when running a train.

Nothing TT to buy at the show. I did find a few CPR rule books for a project I am working on.

Heading back home we missed the 6 PM ferry by a handful of cars. Happily there was a 7 PM ferry so we didn't have to wait too long.

The most interesting thing at the show, besides our display, was an N-scale Stock Car with sound.
It was done with products from Ngineering.com. Sounded good. Was a cram job to fit in an N-Scale car. Should be much easier in our scale.

Now to get to work on equipment and modules for the NMRA show.

It seems like there were a good number of small "personal" layouts. That's pretty cool. All the shows I've ever been to have been huge club jobs. Nice to see smaller stuff that can actually fit in someone's home.
