All I gotta say is, I'm speechless.

As soon as I got home I had to take a nap... standing all day and being bouncily excited, talking a lot... it was great!

Everything worked well, we had all sorts of trains running and drew all sorts of crowds. The March show has always been more about memorabilia, railway paper, etc., more of a swap meet than a show, so there were only two real "layout"/operation-focussed displays, so that may have helped, but either way, we got good attention.

And we drew more people out of the woodwork: "oh, hey, I have some old American TT at home in the closet", and a couple of them were very interested in new developments; at least one said they'd join us at the next show in November.

Thanks to everyone who came out and brought stuff to show and helping to make it so fantastic!

Here are some of my pics from the show...

The "Royal Alberta TT Scale Modeller's Club" - CSD's and AnotherTTnut's contribution to the display - a nice display layout and LOTS of equipment!

Something very exciting - the test shots of the mtb SW1200!

VoyTTek's Polish station.

Arnold's Koef. Amazing little thing - pulled a big train of 9 or ten four-axle freight cars!

Our running North American train. Bill managed to fix the issues and it ran great throughout the show!

Another view of VoyTTek's station, with my Zil truck and my CN piggyback truck.

Grinning? Oh yes, I still am. The show truly was great fun, it was fantastic to see all of this gorgeous equipment on display. It makes me already stoked for November, and gives me renewed desire to have more to be able to contribute to the display.
