The most recent information from tracking the delivery says that it hasn't yet been released from customs to Canada Post. Even though mail isn't delivered Saturdays I had hopes of picking up the parcel from the nearby post office branch, but it's too late.

Dammit. Well, I suppose at the very least Terry, you can give your opinion on a non running pre production model when it arrives.

Unfortunately my M62 won't be in a displayable state.

I do, however, have a bunch of samples from Art&Detail to show.

The show is over. Hooray!

The show is over, boo!

I'm exhausted. My legs are tired from standing all day. My voice is raspy from talking all day.

I have a smile a mile. It was GREAT! Haven't had as much fun at a show in a long time.

Pictures and more commentary tomorrow after some rest.

TT is inTTense. Although the missing Uboat was a great disappointment, the day at the train show was undoubtedly a success as Bill hinted. Attendance was good. I have been at every show in which our TT was exhibited and there's no question that interest from the public has increased each time.

The layouts worked, the trains ran well, the children behaved, and we handed out lots of information. At the beginning of the day before the others had arrived an old fellow came to the table while I was setting up and talked about TT. He offered to show me one TT coach and went back to his car to get it. It was an old Rokal coach which CSD bought from him later in the day, because CSD is a good guy.

Later in the morning two men showed up separately, each one had TT in the closet just waiting to come out. Both intend to check TTNut web site, and both seemed likely to join us at the next show in November or at least return for another visit. One had European TT models and the other had N. American.

Throughout the day people gathered round the RATT display taking in the numerous models running and waiting to run. CSD and anotherTTnut had their hands full running lots of trains and talking to lots of people. On the TT Tracks modular layout we kept Bill Dixon's F3 hauling freight on one oval and various German passenger trains of mine on the other oval. One regular show attendee who operates the British modellers group layout, came over three times to check us out and have a chat. Business supposedly was rather quiet at Central Hobbies exhibit so Bill could spend time next door with us and be a TTnut. Marquette showed exquisitely detailed work as usual. Myself, I learned a great deal from talking with the Royal Albertans and picking up TT tips. Also, I ended up with a BR50 which VoyTTek let go because a Polish version was available.

I assure you all the TT guys are great people and put in a lot of time and effort to make a good impression. This was our fifth show. More than once I remembered our humble beginnings two years ago with a table and a few models sitting there. It's amazing how far we've come. This brief summary is all you get for now. I'm really tired. Later, hopefully, the others will have their own comments to add.

-Terry C.
