How many ribs does the Christoph end have, and how are they separated? That could serve as a stand-in for 5-5-5 or 7-8 ends, if one is alright about such stand-ins.

The Christoph ends are 5-5-5.

Oooh! Okay, that's much better than a stand-in!

Someone should make some resin copies of that... would be very useful for either kitbashing these cars, or for scratchbuilding USRA double-sheathed cars. I'd definitely want several pairs!

Those Christoph ends are part of Christoph's USRA double-sheathed car kit.
I can't promise anything, I don't know how to make resin copies. But I will ask my colleague at work for help. He is a specialist in glue & resin. He should know.
