TT-West

Postby Richard-B » Mon May 18, 2015 2:47 am

I am pleased to announce that TT-West plans to ‘go live’, and become a commercial TT-scale supplier this Summer-2015.

Mission Statement:
TT-West will create and deliver accurate, high-quality TT-scale products for modelers of North American prototypes, with a focus on filling un-served needs in the hobby.

As many of you know, TT-West has been creating artwork for TT (and other!) scale products over the last several years. While continuing to strongly support suppliers making factory-printed models with our vector-based artwork, TT-West will move to complement both existing and new models with accurate decal offerings.

Initially, decals will be offered for a number of available cars, including:
  • Zeuke: Funnel-Flow tank cars (Blue, White and Black-body versions)
    including both re-number sets and alternate liveries.
  • Gold Coast: ‘37AAR Box Cars (various) , Fowler Clone boxcars (early and late)
  • Kemtron: 2-bay AAR Hoppers
  • Joma Brass: High-side Gondola, Tank car, Caboose
  • Shapeways 3D-printed cars: as agreed with the designer
In addition, TT-West is in discussion with several TT-scale suppliers to act as either a primary or alternate distribution channel within the US. More information will be released in cooperation with these suppliers in the next several months.

Web Site: WHAT Web Site? It is coming soon at http://www.tt-west.com .

While the e-Commerce web site is still under construction, TT-west would like to hear from YOU; members of the TT-scale community about specific needs or wants. Just send a message to mailto:info@tt-west.com with your thoughts.

This is an exciting time for TT-scale; I hope that TT-West can become a positive element in increasing both enjoyment and participation in our hobby.

Rich, that is great news. It also helps that you are just down the road from where I work...

@Marquette - Hear, hear. Couldn't agree more.

I think he means it wasn't an option, but rather mandatory.
