Hey Ron, I'd love to but I have way too much on my plate as it is. Perhaps some of the other "movers and shakers" will take the opportunity?

The original address on the instructions is Key West, but there's a later label glued on the box that says Cape Coral. There was another place called "H&B Enterprises" from Miami, they did the same style of kit- a wood sided kit but I only have one boxcar of theirs.

Hi Al,
That's it! And upon seeing the name A&J Models, I now remember the name of the other brother was John Haufe. I think he was the older of the two brothers, and I believe they have all passed away by now. I have never seen any of their kits, but I would like to know more about them (variety, years of production, etc.). What trucks & wheels did they use? If you get a chance and could scan the plans, I'd be grateful. The only TT caboose I've ever seen is the HP Products one, so I' really like to see the A&J version. I'm from Miami originally, and never heard of TT models from H&B Enterprises. I'd love to find out more about them, too.

Thanks for jogging my memory!

The caboose is very interesting question for me too - because I have 2 HP's cabooses, but I need the caboose of different type - I want to model SOO Line, and they used cabooses that look different...

Well gang the interview is done and it will air in November. I'll give you the exact date when I have confirmation.

I don't know how many of you have done a timed interview but it's my first and it's a strange thing. I felt like I only said about 1/10 of all the things I thought I was going to say. Hopefully it won't be too terrible to listen to

The interview will be on episode 0026 which should air in a week. I'll find various pics across the board and upload them to their Flikr gallery - if there is a particular image on the board that features your work and you do NOT want it shared, please let me know. BTW, I'll focus on images having to do with US proto.

Show #26 is now available. I haven't listened to it yet so I don't know what may have been edited. Anyway, as I mentioned before, the whole thing was pretty new to me and I think if I had a second chance I would have done better.

Just listened to it, Great Job!
Very Protfessional, smooth delivery, you make the rest of us sound smart or something.
You sounded like an old pro, maybe you should consider politics as a career!
