TT scale is my life!

TT scale is my life!

Postby AstroGoat760 » Mon Sep 28, 2009 11:37 pm

I have come to a realization:

The majority of my off work time has been spent either working on restoring my TT scale engines and cars, or here on TTnut.com.

Since I need to scavenge some parts here and there, and paint needs hours/days before applying a new coat, I spend hours and hours here and other model train sites.

Anyone else in the same boat?

This is pretty much the first site I open every morning. TT scale is the only scale I deal with. I do have another addict... erm... hobby - Swiss Army Knives, and I try to balance my time and budget between the two.

Nicholle will not let me have any knives for the time being......

I have realized that this website IS my social life.

There is not a TT section in any of the forums on Trains.com, that and I have gotten tired of the bickering between different groups there (i.e. Lionel vs. American Flyer, HO vs. N, Lionel vs. Marx), and there is not anything along the lines of forums for my other "obsession", my old Ford yard tractors (1966 Ford 100 LGT, 1969 Ford 120 LGT, 1970 Ford 120(H) LGT, 1985 Ford YT16H), so here I am.

ConducTTor, I thank you for providing a place for me to go when I cannot do anything else due to my present medical status.

I think my co workers, friends and family like this site more than I do. Now that I have an outlet, they don't have to humour my "hobby" conversations (as much).
